On October 12th, a reporter visited the processing workshop of Hubei Continental Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. Amid the roar of machinery, wheel hub blanks of various models were turned on twin-turret lathes before being quickly transferred to the milling production line. Workers shuttled between the machines, expertly entering parameters. 150 milling machines operated at full speed, engraving, grinding, and polishing the wheels according to customer orders. The entire process was efficient and intelligent.
Qian Jin, a reporter for Omnimedia, said, "Everyone has heard of the saying 'Zhang Fei's embroidery—rough yet delicate.' Behind me, these 'strong men' are meticulously carving wheels ranging from 15 inches to 30 inches. The internal rotation speed of the machine body has reached 15,000 revolutions per minute, but when I touch it, I feel no vibration at all. This high-precision equipment can produce over 5,000 wheel models and meet the personalized needs of consumers."
After meticulous polishing, numerous stylish and fashionable wheels have taken shape, ready for the final painting process. On the fully automated production line, an imported, fully automatic spray painting system, with a total investment of over 60 million yuan, acts like a beautician, applying three coats and three bakes to the wheels, completing their magnificent transformation.
Wang Yang, deputy general manager of Hubei Continental Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., said: "Since the construction of the first phase of our project, we have been able to produce more than 17,000 wheels per month. We have established in-depth cooperation with many internationally renowned brands, and 80% of our products are exported to countries (or regions) such as Europe, the United States, Japan, and Russia."
In order to enable the company to "go into battle lightly", in the early stage of the company's production line construction, the county media center, county tax bureau and other project guarantee units took the initiative to provide services and implement factor guarantees, give full play to their own intelligent advantages, and simultaneously coordinate with relevant departments to carry out technical talent recruitment activities, providing solid talent guarantees for the company's full-load production.

Located in the Nanzhang Economic Development Zone, Hubei Continental Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.'s wheel manufacturing project integrates wheel R&D, design, production, and sales. With a total investment of 1 billion yuan, the project, constructed in two phases, aims to create the largest forged wheel production base in Central China. The company currently holds 46 patents, and its forged wheels are 30% lighter than cast wheels and 2-3 times stronger.
Wang Yang, deputy general manager of Hubei Continental Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., said, "The second phase of the project is expected to invest 800 million yuan to build a casting production line, three forging production lines, and a testing and R&D center. Production is expected to begin by the end of December this year. Once both phases are completed and operational, the company will produce one million wheels annually, generating an annual output value of 1 billion yuan and creating over 300 jobs."
