On February 17, in the processing workshop of Hubei Continental Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Continental Wheel") located in Nanzhang Economic Development Zone, 150 intelligent CNC machining centers were running at full capacity, and pieces of "aluminum lumps" were milled and turned into shiny and cool-looking wheels.
According to Wang Wei, the company's production manager, they are currently processing an order for 5,000 car wheels, which will be delivered on February 26.
Continental Wheels is an intelligent manufacturing company engaged in the design, manufacturing and sales of automobile wheels. It started production in June 2024 and currently processes more than 600 wheels per day.
The company's ability to maintain full production capacity stems from its precise market positioning. In its product showroom, nearly a hundred different car wheel designs in varying sizes and appearances offer a dazzling array of options. "Stylish and vibrant wheels not only enhance the vehicle's appearance but also highlight the owner's personality," said Wang Wei, explaining that the company's product positioning is focused on the automotive modification market, offering customized products to meet the individual needs of car owners. The company accepts orders for thousands of wheels from auto parts distributors, as well as custom sets from private car owners.
"As long as the car owner can think of it, we can make it." Wang Wei introduced that the company's equipment can meet the production of more than 5,000 types of wheels. Customers only need to provide a picture or even express their needs, and they can design and process products that will satisfy the other party.
Wang Wei's confidence stems from the company's advanced, intelligent processing equipment. In the production and processing workshop, there are 150 intelligent CNC machining centers, operated by only 15 operators. After the rough blank is placed in the machining center, the equipment operates according to the system's programmed program, processing one wheel hub in an average of four hours.
By 2024, Continental Wheels will produce over 40,000 wheels annually, generating an output value of over 60 million yuan, with products exported to Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North America. The second phase of the project, slated to begin production at the end of this month, will have an annual production capacity of 1 million wheels, generating an annual output value of 1 billion yuan and creating over 300 jobs.
